Rude Awakening
April 9, 2002 Rude Awakening is 107-minute live performance that features 24 Megadeth songs as well as interviews, b-roll footage, studio footage of the recording of The World Needs a Hero and an extra mini-concert, which contains additional footage of five tunes ("Kill the King," "Angry Again," "Almost Honest," "Train of Consequences," "A Tout le Monde"), shot in grainy black and white and dedicated to the victims of the September 11 attacks. The video was directed by Christoffer Saltzgaber and produced by Dean Karr's company The Mine (known for its collaboration with Dave Matthews Band, Cypress Hill, Ozzy Osbourne, Marilyn Manson, Iron Maiden). This DVD was certified Gold (25.000 copies sold) in 2002. Available on: DVD, VHS |
