This video shows the recording of Youthanasia in the early part of 1994. Most of the footage was shot in Capitol Record's mobile recording studio outside of Phoenix, Arizona. Among various tunes from Youthanasia being played in the studio, you can also hear "Vortex," a song that was later released on Cryptic Writings. There's the "Train of Consequences" video at the end.

Train of Consequences

(Director: Wayne Isham)

Youthanasia from the very beginning raised commotion with its cover and with the video to the song "Train of Consequences."

"It's strange that 24 hours a day, when you're flipping through TV channels you see murder and violence. When you want to make a surrealist video, however, which in your opinion has a positive message, you are forbidden to do so. All I can say is that I'm glad we haven't decided to show a couple of hanged dolls in the clip. If we did that we would have probably been greeted by angry citizen groups, hungry for linching." (Mustaine)
